Starting at 10am, several streets surrounding the Randolph-Macon campus will be closed to accommodate game day traffic.   

Traffic on Southbound Center Street from College Avenue to West Patrick Street will be diverted to NORTHBOUND ONLY from the hours of 10am-1pm.   This change will help facilitate a more orderly flow of traffic northbound to the Smith Alumni Tailgate Area and the West Patrick Street general admission parking areas.   Guests with reserved tailgating spaces should be ready to present their parking passes to the officer at the intersection.  

Henry Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic from the hours of 9:15am until the conclusion of the football game.  Guests seeking handicapped accessible parking areas will need to show their handicapped permit to the officer at the street barricade for entry.  


Free Parking
Free parking is available in limited parking lots on the R-MC Camps on a first-come, first serve basis.  Fans coming to the game are strongly encouraged to arrive early to guarantee parking close to Day Field.  

Guests are encouraged to park for free in any lot that is designated visitor parking including the 500 N. Center Street lot, the Mill's Lot east, Mill's lot west, the Leachman lot, and all parking areas surrounding the Banks Tennis Center.

Paid Parking
Paid parking will be available on West Patrick Street at the old tennis court lot and the west athletic field lot.  Parking in these designated areas will be $10 per car (cash only).  

Satellite Parking:
Due to large expected crowds for the "The Game", satellite parking with shuttle service will be available on Saturday from 10:00am – 4:30pm at Gandy Elementary School and the Hanover School Board parking lots, located approximately ¼ mile north of Bennett Hall on Henry Street.  Guests taking advantage of satellite parking are encouraged to enter the parking area from Archie Cannon Drive off of N Washington Highway (Route 1).  

Special Needs Parking:
Special needs parking will be made available on Caroline Street from the corner of N. Taylor to Henry Street, encompassing one full block and including the Fox Hall lot parking spaces.   When special needs guests arrive, please show the parking attendant your handicapped eligible parking pass/license plate for admission. This parking is available on a first come first served basis and fills up quickly.   

Guests needing special needs parking are strongly encouraged to use the shuttle service from Gandy Elementary School.   The shuttle will drop guests off directly in front of the visitor's entrance to Day Field.     

There will be no presale of tickets.  Tickets will be sold at 10:00 am on the day of the game and are $10 per person.  Children 12 and under are admitted free of charge.  Ticket sales are cash only.  

Tickets will be sold until the conclusion of the game.  All fans will need a ticket for entrance into Day Field. 

Tickets will be sold in two locations.   Randolph-Macon fans should report to the yellow ticket tent at the west entrance of Day Field behind the home team stands.  Hampden-Sydney fans should purchase their tickets at the visiting team fan entrance to Day Field located along Henry Street.  

General Will Call booths are located at the main ticket tent behind the home team stands at the entrance of Day Field and on Henry Street next to the visitor's entrance to Day Field.  Will Call will open at 10:00 am. Photo I.D. must be present to claim all will call tickets. Please arrive early to avoid long lines.  Each team's pass list will also be held at Will Call.  

No outside food or beverages are allowed inside Day Field.     

Concessions will be available inside the facility and will be located in the north end zones.  All concessions are cash only. 

Events staff will give exiting guests a hand stamp that will permit them to exit and enter throughout the game.   A hand stamp or ticket will be required at all times for admission to Day Field.  

Day Field will be closed for pre-game preparations at 9:55am. The stadium will re-open to ticketed fans at 11:00a.m.  

Portable restrooms will be stationed throughout Day Field and the tailgating area for use on game day.  Restrooms on are also available on the first floor of Crenshaw Gymnasium and in the Brock Recreation Center.

Available in the women's bathroom located on the first floor of Crenshaw Gymnasium.

The Campus Bookstore will be open in the Brock Student Commons from 9am until 5pm. 

All R-MC games both home and on the road are on WHAN 1430 AM/102.9 FM and

Cameras and camcorders are allowed in Day Field but tripods are prohibited.

ANIMALS: (Certification is required)
Certified service animals or service animals in training for guests with disabilities are allowed in Day Field. Certification is required.  All other animals are prohibited inside the Day Field Stadium.  

Randolph-Macon and the Old Dominion Athletic Conference promote good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist comments, or other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches or team representatives will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition.

Only authorized personnel with proper credentials will be permitted on the field before, during, or after a game. Any unauthorized person going on to the field will be removed and subject to ejection and/or arrest.

All media access needs to be secured prior to game day.  No game day credentials will be distributed.  Please contact Phil Stanton, Sports Information Director, for any and all media passes.

Tobacco products are strictly prohibited in any area of Day Field.

The Smith Alumni Tailgating Area is open and accessible to all game day fans.   The Smith Tailgate Area is an ABC licensed area, and as such, proof of age will be required for admission into the area.   Please comply with all events staff when they request identification.   Disruptive behavior or failure to comply with Virginia alcohol laws will result in immediate dismissal from the tailgate area and legal sanctions.  

The Smith Alumni Tailgating area will open at 9:30am for those guests who have reserved an individual tailgating space.    The tailgate area closes promptly at 5pm following the game.
