Football Looks For Two Straight, Host Washington & Lee

John Moore

HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA-Hampden-Sydney will return home for the final time of the 2013 season on Saturday, November 9 as the Tigers host the Generals of Washington & Lee University on Hall of Fame Weekend. The Tigers are fresh off a 52-0 win over Guilford to help force a three-way tie in first place of the conference. A win for the Tigers would allow them to control their destiny and win the conference with a win over arch-rival Randolph-Macon.

Washington & Lee, who defeated Catholic 14-10 last week, still has just two losses in conference. A win over the Tigers would muddy up the standings and allow for a possible situation with four teams finishing the year at 5-2 in conference play.

The last time these two teams met, they battled in an epic four-overtime thriller in Lexington, with the Generals on the winning end of a 45-42 decision and clinching the ODAC Championship.

Kickoff on the 9th is scheduled for 1:00 pm. To find links for audio, video, and live stats, click here. To view the game notes previewing the game, click here
